LI Yong(1969- ) , a Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, School of Philosophy and Public Administration, Liaoning University. He received B.S. degree from Liaoning University and M.S. and Ph.D degrees from Nanjing University. He once taught Buddhist philosophy at Shanghai University and Nankai University. His primary areas of research are Chinese Buddhism and Buddhist Philosophy.

His main scientific research achievements are as follows:

1. Study of Buddhist Thought in Sanron (East Asian Mādhyamaka).

2. Reason and Religion in Modern Western Philosophy.

3. The Comprehensive History of Chinese Buddhism, ed. Lai Yonghai, Li Yong, etc.
