I. Personal Profile

SHAN Chunyan, female, was born in March 1980 in Fuxin, Liaoning Province. She is also a member of the CPC. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Liaoning Normal University, a master’s degree in education given by Beijing Normal University, and a doctor’s degree in education awarded by Beijing Normal University. Now she is an associate researcher working in the Institute of Higher Education in Liaoning University.

In 2012, she was awarded the title of scientific research model of Liaoning Institute of Education. In 2013, she was selected as one of the first batch of young scientific research backbones of Liaoning Institute of Education. In 2016, she was honored as the thousand-level candidate of “one million talents project” in Liaoning Province. In 2017, she was awarded the advanced worker of Liaoning Institute of Education. In 2013 and 2015, she was awarded the title of excellent association worker by the Provincial Federation Social Science Circles for two consecutive times. In 2013, she was awarded the title of “excellent association worker” by China Association of Higher Education.

VI. Major Research Awards

1. In November 2011, the paper “Review of the Research on the Construction Mode and Operation Mechanism of the Major Science and Technology Platforms in Domestic and Foreign Universities” won the first prize of the excellent paper of the 2011 academic annual meeting of the Liaoning Higher Education Association, and ranked first.

2. In October 2012, the paper “The Implementation of the Talent Strategy of Russian Universities in the Context of an Innovative Economy and its Enlightenment” won the first prize of the excellent paper of the 2012 academic annual meeting of the Liaoning Provincial Institute of Higher Education, ranking first.

3. In July 2013, the Monograph “Comparative Research on the Development of University Characteristics” was awarded the second prize for outstanding academic achievements in higher education research in the middle part of the 12th five-year Plan of Liaoning Higher Education Society, ranking first in the list of awards.

4. In November 2013, the monograph “Comparative Research on the Development of University Characteristics’’ won the second-class award for outstanding achievements in the middle period of the 12th five-year plan of Education Science in Liaoning Province, ranking first.

5. In September 2016, the Monograph “Comparative Research on the Development of University Characteristics” was awarded the third prize for outstanding achievements in scientific research in higher education for the ninth time by the China Institute of Higher Education and ranked first.

6. In July 2012, “The 12th five-year and 2020 Reform and Development Outlook of higher Education in Liaoning Province” were awarded the Second Prize of the philosophy and social science achievement award of Liaoning Province, ranking fourth.

7. In June 2013, “The Theory and Practice of Development with Regional University Characteristics” was awarded the third prize for the eighth outstanding scientific research achievements in higher education by the China Society for Higher Education, ranking third in the list of winners.

8. In November 2013, “The Theory and Practice of Development with Regional University Characteristics” was awarded the first prize for outstanding achievements in the mid-term of the 12th five-year plan for education science in Liaoning Province, ranking third in terms of the awards.

9. In January 2016, “The Theory and Practice of Development with Regional University Characteristics” was awarded the second prize for achievements in the philosophy and social sciences of Liaoning Province in 2011-2012, ranking fourth in terms of the award.
