On the morning of October 9th, a delegation from the University of New South Wales lead by Ms. Wei Xin, Director of the China Region visited LNU to conduct cooperation negotiations. The President Dr. Pan Yishan attended the forum. Dr. Laurie Pearcey, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of New South Wales for international affairs and Chief Executive Officer of UNSW Global Pty Ltd, attended the meeting remotely.
At the meeting, President Pan Yishan gave a brief introduction to LNU and the internationalization of the university. He hoped that the two parties could reach a consensus on cooperation and promote the sharing of high-quality educational resources and complementary advantages. Vice-Chancellor Laurie Pearcey introduced the subject construction of UNSW and the idea of cooperation with LNU. The two parties discussed and reached a preliminary consensus on Sino-foreign cooperative education institutes (projects), university preparatory training bases, joint undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs, and technology transformation.
