Xue Youlin, male, 36 years old, Ph.D., associate professor of Light Industry College, Liaoning University. Council member of Liaoning Food Safety Expert Committee, and member of Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemsitry, and the Crystallographic Society of Japan. The main research interest is the extraction of plant active substances, structure-function relationship analysis and functional properties of proteins. In recent years, he was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Scientific Research Foundation for the Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars, State Education Ministry of China, the General Project of the Education Department of Liaoning Province, etc, and published 14 research papers in SCI journals, such as Nat. Commun., Mol. Plant, PLoS Comput. Biol., Plant Sci., J. Agric. Food Chem.,and Food chem. Participated in the editing of two “12th five-year plan” textbooks. Won the second prize of natural science of Liaoning province in 2013 and selected for the second level of “Key Talent of Liaoning Province” in 2015.
