Associate professor LIU Bingmi  obtained her B. Eng. degree from the college of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Chongqing University, China in 1998. Then she worked as an assistant engineer for four years in CSPC Hebei Zhongrun Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., China. After that, she received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees, both in Medicinal Chemistry from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, China in 2005 and 2013, respectively. She is currently engaged in teaching and research in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Liaoning University.

Her research interests are in studying the relationships between the chemical structures, modification and anti-tumor activities of natural products, and discuss the molecular mechanism, and their sonodynamic anticancer activity. So far, she published 14 articles, and the majority of the articles were included in SCI journals. In addition, she attained the authorized country invention patent 1 item, and 2 provincial-level natural science academic achievement awards.
