TONG Jing, a professor and a Ph.D supervisor at College of Chemistry, Liaoning University. She obtained B.S. from the department of chemistry at Liaoning Normal University in 1999. In 2002 she finished her M.S. at Sichuan University and in 2007 she finished her Ph.D at Qinghai Institute of Salt Lakes, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She has been chosen into Liaoning Province Hundred/Thousand Talents Project—"hundred level". She undertakes two projects of NSFC (Natural Science Foundation of China), four projects of Project of Education Department of Liaoning Province.

Main Research Field

1. Chemical Thermodynamics: synthesis of new functional ionic liquids—theoretical models based on systematic study on physicochemical property of these functional ionic liquids.

2. Solution Chemistry: study on new functional ionic liquids—applications of Eötvös equation to estimate the volume, density, surface tension of aqueous solution of new functional ionic liquids.

Main Findings

The research interests include the functional ionic liquids and Chemical thermodynamics. The main research achievements are as follows:
