The Office of Alumni Association/Foundation was established in March 2012. It includes the Alumni Association of Liaoning University (hereinafter referred to as LNU) and the Secretariat of LNU Education Foundation.

The Alumni Association was registered at the Department of Civil Affairs of Liaoning Provincial Government on Sept. 5^th, 1998. The Association aims to enhance contacts between alumni and the university as well as the connection among graduates of LNU, and to inspire alumni to make contribution to the development of LNU and the prosperity of our country with the school motto “Noble in Morality, Extensive in Learning, Tenacious in Action and Independent in Spirit”. The Association abides by the constitution, legislations, regulations, national policies and social morality and manners. Currently the Alumni Association consists of 28 chapters home and abroad, including 21 in China and 7 overseas.

The Alumni Foundation was established in Feb. 2012. It is a non-public foundation registered at the Department of Civil Affairs of Liaoning Provincial Government with a registered fund of 2,000,000RMB. The Foundation implements social welfare activities in accordance with the Regulation on Foundation Administration.
