The School of Liaoning Intellectual Property was established in April 29, 2016. It is the academic institution cosponsored by Liaoning University and Liaoning Intellectual Property Office. Relying on the Liaoning University Law School, School of Liaoning Intellectual Property  works together with the Law School in the same office. The purposes of the School of Liaoning Intellectual Property are as follows:

      First is establish a complete levels and rich types of intellectual property professional degree education system, which includes the levels of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students. The school will actively carry out the full range of intellectual property talent training work cooperated with related government and enterprises and public institutions. It will work hard to become a national intellectual property training base.

      Second is strengthen the research on the theory of intellectual property rights and supply the legal service about the Intellectual property rights legislation and public policy on the level of national and Liaoning Province and to build the first-rate regional and national influenced high level intellectual property storehouse of intelligence.

      Third is promote the governmental industrial and academic intellectual property rights research integration and create a collaborative innovation center for intellectual property rights through a variety of mechanisms on exchange and cooperate with domestic and foreign universities, research institutions and international organizations.
