Business & Liberal Arts Comprehensive Center for Practical Training of Liaoning University was set up in Sep. 2009. In Dec. 2012, it officially became one of national-level practical training demonstration centers, as well as the leader of the comprehensive liberal arts group of national-level experimental teaching demonstration centers in colleges and universities.
The Center is in Lixing Building on Puhe Campus of Liaoning University. It covers an area of 14,000m2, with up to 45 types of laboratory rooms which are available to about 1,600 students to have experiments at the same time. There are more than 40 experimental courses, such as economics, management, philosophy, law, literature, history, psychology, politics, journalism and so on.
Since its establishment, achievements have been made in the fields of experiment teaching resources and equipment, experimental team building, information system and so forth. Owing to its advanced practical training, the Center has attracted attention from the Ministry of Education, the Department of Education of Liaoning province, and colleges and universities all over China. It is just like a bridge for Liaoning University to communicate and exchange with other partners.
An open management mode is adopted by the Center. General-purpose laboratories and specialized laboratories are open timely to meet the demand of training.
