On Dec. 13th, College of Chemistry signs an agreement of industry-university-research strategic cooperation with Shenyang Rustproof Packaging Material Co., Ltd. on Puhe Campus. Party Secretary, Dr. ZHOU Haobo addresses at the signing ceremony.
The cooperation can be treated as a new attempt of LNU to further reform its talent-training mechanism to promote its transformation, and an opportunity for the university to improve its scientific and technological innovation so as to fuel the local development in economy and society, says Zhou. Following the step of Liaoning to revitalize its society and economy, LNU is developing a special “university-enterprise cooperation” to boost enterprises’ innovation and benefit local development with its teaching and research fruits. It aims to provide more talents and technologies for revitalizing the old industrial bases in Northeast China. It is hoped that both the college and the company play their respective advantages to promote the cooperation, in which more research fruits are required in developing new technologies and products. To reach a win-win goal of mutual benefit, both sides need to share their resources and benefit each other, so as to improve their core advantages. Also, the cooperation is expected to be a model in talents training and technology developing, and contribute more to a new round revitalization of the old industrial bases.
