The first “Moran Drama Festival” is celebrated at the Function Hall of Puhe Campus on Dec. 13th, with its opening ceremony, also known as the graduation show of School of Art, attended by ZHOU Haobo (Party Secretary), GUO Changyi (Deputy Party Secretary), SUN Shiguo (Vice President), and TONG Chunguang (Director of Liaoning People’s Art Theater).
Party Secretary ZHOU Haobo addresses the opening ceremony. As a university with a splendid and long history of art education, Liaoning University sticks to its artistic ideal, and follows the spirit of General Secretary XI Jinping’s important speech to serve for developing innovative culture of our nation. The festival is treated as a significant medium of LNU to carry out the 13th Five-Year Plan to enhance its cultural power and educational influence. The festival is named after LI Moran, the former director of Liaoning People’s Art Theater, who was a very famous performing artist of China. “Moran Drama Festival” makes us learn more about Chinese classic dramas and their meaning, which will surely improve the knowledge of teachers and students, and benefit the cultural development of the university, says Zhou.
