Ratified by Liaoning Federation of Trade Unions, LNU’s previous “Lin Muxi Model Worker Innovation Workshop” has changed its name into “Liaoning Model Worker Innovation Workshop”.

Established in 2014, the workshop was previously named after Lin Muxi, who was selected as one of 2010 Advanced Workers of China. Lin is a specially-hired professor of Chang Jiang Scholar Program and one of the first batch of top teachers in Ten Thousand Talent Plan. The workshop has offered valuable advice and suggestions to the revitalization of old industrial bases in Northeast China since its establishment, and its research reports have been reviewed by Premier Li Keqiang, and several chief leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Liaoning province. Besides, it has participated in drafting the preliminary study report of the 13th Five-Year Plan for the revitalization of Northeast China. What the workshop has done has received the recognition of trade union organizations of Liaoning and Shenyang.
