In the afternoon of September 7th, Professor Chen Xing, PhD supervisor of the School of Information and Control Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology, came to our school to hold a lecture entitled “Network and machine learning algorithms in complex disease-related Bioinformatics research”.
Professor Chen Xing is the director of the Institute of Bioinformatics, China University of Mining and Technology, and the first batch of China University of Mining and Technology. He is mainly engaged in the research of bioinformatics and systems biology. In the lecture, he discussed a number of important issues concerning the aspects of complex diseases, non-coding RNA and network pharmacology the field of system biology with teachers and students through the development and use of complex networks, machine learning, in-depth learning, graph theory, combinatorial mathematics and other methods.
