During October 13rd-15th, the 2017 moot court competition of general HEIs of Liaoning Province was held on Puhe Campus of Liaoning University. A total of 138 contestants from 23 colleges in Liaoning province participated in the competition.

After the fierce competition, Shenyang University and other four teams won the championship, runner-up and second runner-up. Shenyang Institute of Engineering and other six teams won the "Best Legal Instrument Award". The contest also selected "Best Professional Style Award" "Excellent Professional Style Award" and "Excellent Instructor".

The competition was jointly organized by Liaoning Provincial Department of Education and Liaoning Provincial Department of Finance, coordinated by Liaoning University and the legal services industry contractors of Liaoning Province, and supported by Forensic Identification Center and Criminal Law Research Center of Liaoning University.
