On the afternoon of September 17, the opening ceremony of the 3rd Golden Ball Festival and sport competition was grandly launched at the stadium of Puhe Campus of Liaoning University.

As one of the nine parts of festival series held under the theme of “My Love@ Liaoning University”, the Golden Ball Festival activities include science, culture, sports and art. The festival was organized to fully demonstrate the diligence, vigor and youthfulness of the students. The Golden Ball Festival has been hosted for three successive years, and this year’s festival takes on our national sport—Ping Pong, aiming to deepen students’ understanding of Ping Pong and motivate more students to join in the game. The event itself is a broad stage for students to show their talent and passion for sports. It is also a great platform for the people at Liaoning University to promote the spirit of sport and to demonstrate their elegant demeanor.
