On the afternoon of April 26, on the occasion of the 19th World Intellectual Property Day, the 2019 Liaoning Intellectual Property Forum, jointly organized by Liaoning Intellectual Property Institute and Liaoning Legal Service Alliance, was held at Liaoning University. More than 80 people from the law schools, legal business, business circles and the Law School of Liaoning University attended the forum.

The guest speaker invited by the forum was Dr. Wei Xiaodong, a teacher of the Law School of Liaoning University. With the theme of “Research and Judgment of Intellectual Property Litigation”, the lecturer compared the differences between judges and lawyers in the field of intellectual property trials. And focusing on many considerations in intellectual property litigation such as law, policies, background of the case, interests of all parties and the effect of judgment, the lecturer closely combined theory with practice from the shallower to the deeper with the use of a large number of real cases, vividly and detailedly, which was well received.
