On May 21, the First Conference on Science and Technology Cooperation and Development between Liaoning University and Yingkou City was jointly held in Yingkou.

Since its establishment two years ago, the Liaoning University (Yingkou) City Research Institute has made remarkable achievements in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and joint development of major core technologies, which played a significant role as a platform and carrier. The joint scientific and technological cooperation and development conference between the two sides is not only an important measure to further innovate the cooperation mode of schools and enterprises as well as schools and local governments, but also to continuously foster new drivers of growth. At the opening ceremony, Liaoning University signed four cooperation projects and six intentional cooperation projects, which includes agreements with Yingkou District of Liaoning Province Free Trade Zone to jointly build the postgraduate practice base, Yingkou Institute of Technology for strategic cooperation, Yingkou Lvyuan Boiler Co. Ltd. for the solution of near zero release of large gas boilers, and Yingkou Lisheng Agricultural Products Co. Ltd. Pink Tailang Tomato Demonstration Base, which is also the Whole Industry Chain Research Institute. After the opening ceremony, Liaoning University held a scientific and technological achievements release matching conference to issue scientific and technological achievements projects and think tank platform projects, and to start cooperation with enterprises in Yingkou.
