On November 6, 2019，a delegation of eight people from Josai International University (JIU) visited LNU, led by Motoyuki Ono, the Special Adviser of the School Board Chairman. The Secretary of Party Committee, Mr. Zhou Haobo met with JIU delegation. The Vice President, Mr. Sun Shiguo attended the meeting as well.

Mr. Zhou Haobo, the Secretary of Party Committee, extended a warm welcome to JIU delegation, and indicated that Liaoning University highly values the exchanges and cooperation with Josai International University and has achieved fruitful results in student exchange and teacher dispatch. This year, the Liaoning Provincial Government attached great importance to the internationalization of colleges and universities in our province, and vigorously advocated Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools. Therefore, he hoped that the two sides could take this exchange activity as an opportunity to further deepen the cooperation model and conduct in-depth exchanges in more disciplines and fields.

Motoyuki Ono pointed out that JIU pays particular attention to internationalization construction, especially the exchanges and cooperation with Chinese universities. With the hope of cooperating with Liaoning University in the field of cooperative education, they will have a discussion about the issue after returning to Japan.

Before the meeting, Vice President Sun Shiguo accompanied guests of JIU to visit the History Museum and the Ancient Book Library of Liaoning University.
