On November 4, the Second Food Innovation Contest for Undergraduates of Liaoning’s Institutes of Higher Education hosted by the Education Department of Liaoning Province was successfully held. Nearly a thousand students from 19 colleges and universities in the province participated. A total of 17 participating teams of LNU, consisting of the Light Industry College and the School of Life Sciences, won five First Prizes, three Second Prizes, and four Third Prizes.

This innovation contest strives for innovation, highlights the characteristics of Liaoning and displays the style of Liaoning. Meanwhile, it also arouses the enthusiasm of professional learning of college students, strengthens their practical ability, innovation capability and cooperative spirit, and promotes the talent training mode and practical teaching reform of ordinary colleges and universities.
