On May 12 afternoon, Prof. ZHOU Haobo and his party paid a visit to Dalian Hi-Tech Industrial Park. The two sides discussed and exchanged views on the launch of rhenium project industrialization in the Park by research fellow FANG Dawei, Rare and Dispersed Elements Institute of LNU.

In order to better serve the development of local economy, Liaoning University proactively fulfills industry-univeristy-research strategic requirement, and promotes transformation of scientific and technological achievements through the cooperation with enterprises and local governments.

Believed to have broad prospects, the development and application of rare and disperse elements is considered a revolution for new materials. Since Dalian Hi-Tech Industrial District enjoys favorable environment and excellent industrial basis, it is hoped that both sides can deepen collaboration in the fields of talent training and scientific research so as to play a supportive roles for the construction and development of Dalian Hi-Tech Industrial District. 

Plus, by working together to push forward the transformation and application of this strategic material project, it will generate more academic influence for LNU in Dalian and bring more benefits to all-round rejuvenation of Liaoning Province.
