From July 27 to July 30, 2021, the First National Teaching Innovation Competition of Institutes of Higher Education was successfully held at Fudan University of Shanghai. After various levels of selection in university and provincial competitions, Prof. Du Xiaoyi from the Art and Design Department of College of Liberal Arts finally won the Third Prize for her exquisite teaching skills, excellent teaching manner, and brilliant teaching innovation cases.
The National Teaching Innovation Competition of Institutes of Higher Education is one of the competitions approved by Ministry of Education and included in the “List of Retained Items for Three Evaluations and One Competition of Units Directly Under the Ministry of Education”. It is currently the only college teacher teaching competition in the list of items. LNU will take the opportunity of the National Teaching Innovation Competition of Institutes of Higher Education, adhere to “promoting teaching through competition, and promoting reform through competition”, deepen the construction of basic teaching organizations, comprehensively improve teachers’ teaching skills, deepen education reform, and promote new development in undergraduate education.
