“100-Year Pursuit of Dreams with Love for Art” Oil Painting Exhibition hosted by the Research Institute of Calligraphy and Painting of Liaoning University opened grandly at Shenyang Art Museum on September 26. LNU’s Party Secretary, Dr. Zhou Haobo attended and addressed the opening ceremony. He pointed out that the year 2021 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 85th anniversary of the triumph of the Long March by the Chinese Red Army of Workers and Peasants. The exhibition is a celebration for the “100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China” not only by Professor Zhang Peng and his team from LNU, but also by the Liaoning Association of Literary and Art Circles and Liaoning University. It is also a tribute that “Liaoning literary and artistic communities” and “faculty and students of Liaoning University” pay to the “Long March Spirit”. He said that the exhibition of the artistic works of Professor Zhang Peng and his team is really an honor of Liaoning University with showing the style of LNU, and it is also a great achievement in the literary and artistic circles of Liaoning Province.

The exhibition will be held at Shenyang Art Museum from September 24 to October 8. More than 120 works by seven painters including Professor Zhang Peng from the College of Liberal arts of LNU are on display.
