On the afternoon of October 14, LNU held the title conferring ceremony for Zhang Yongchen as an adjunct professor and the unveiling ceremony of LNU’s Film and Television Creation Base. LNU’s Party Committee Secretary Zhou Haobo addressed the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Secretary Zhou Haobo issued the letter of appointment to Mr. Zhang Yongchen and they jointly unveiled the Film and Television Creation Base of LNU.

Secretary Zhou Haobo introduced the achievements of the College of Communication of LNU in teaching, practice and research. He hoped that the College of Communication would cherish the chance to provide more convenience for Mr. Zhang Yongchen in teaching and work, and continue to promote talent training, scientific research and work innovation with constant summary of experience. And the College should effectively improve the film and television creation practice and teaching level of teachers and the professional level of students, in order to make greater contributions to cultural progress and construction of a country with strong culture.

Professor Zhang Yongchen, Vice Chairman of the National Screenwriting Committee, judge of the 22nd Magnolia Award, and judge of the 45th Emmy Awards, has created not only a series of well-known classic works, but also a range of works including ideological contents, artistry and commercial values, which have harvested profits and praise. He is a leading figure in the domain of literary creation today among frontline film and television works.
