In order to conduct in-depth study and implement Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era to further prosper and develop philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics in the new era and to reward the research achievements of Liaoning province with greater academic and social value in theory and practice, the government of Liaoning Province has formally issued a decision to award the Philosophy and Social Sciences Achievement Award (9th session) to 296 achievements in the province. There were 49 achievements of LNU were awarded, including five first prizes, 17 second prizes, and 27 third prizes.
As a university of the national "Double First-Class" university project, Liaoning University (LNU) has a complete range of disciplines, a flourishing development, profound accumulation, and fruitful achievements in philosophy and social science research. At present, LNU has ranked first in the province in terms of the total number of awards for seven consecutive sessions. Implementing the three-year action plan of Liaoning University to help Liaoning make new breakthroughs in the comprehensive revitalization, create more excellent philosophical and social science research results, and make greater contributions to helping Liaoning build a strong province in culture as well as to achieving new breakthroughs in comprehensive revitalization.
