On Dec. 22, 2023, Professor Yu Miaojie, deputy secretary of the CPC Committee and president of LNU, was invited to join the International Advisory Board of Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation (FU IAB), to further develop the partnership between the two universities.

The Financial University is one of the leading Russian universities. It occupies a top position in the list of universities that offer programs in Economics, International Finance, Law, Information Technology and Social Sciences.

The FU IAB is headed by Professor Muhammad Yunus, a holder of the Nobel Peace Prize and world-famous expert in microfinancing and microloans. It invites outstanding people who have international experience in education, research, finance and management. Its mission is to share best practices and competencies in these areas.
