On 21 February, 2024, the Work Conference of Talents in Shenyang was successfully held. Wang Xinwei, member of the Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee attended the meeting and gave a speech. The conference was also joined by Fan Jiying, Director of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, Yu Xueli, Chairman of CPPCC Shenyang Committee, members of the Municipal Standing Committee, Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, municipal government, CPPCC Shenyang Committee, represents of colleges and universities, research institutes, enterprises in Shenyang, officers of Municipal Party Committee Talent Work Leading Group and directors of Organization Departments in different districts.

The 2024 Talent Plan for Revitalizing Shenyang was announced at the conference. Leaders met the newly-elected academicians and awarded certificates to them and to representativess of high-tech talents and the eight excellent experts in Shenyang. Pan Yishan, Secretary of the CPC Committee of LNU and Yu Miaojie, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of LNU attended the conference and received the awards. President Yu also delivered a speech at the conference.
