On April 22, 2024, the Office of the Committee of Population, Resources and Environment of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) sent a letter of thanks to Li Yupeng, Vice President of Liaoning University and a member of CPPCC, for her exchange of views and suggestions on ‘Promoting supply-side innovation in the elderly care industry and stimulating the development potential of the silver economy’. 

The letter stated that Li Yupeng, a member of the National Committee of the CPPCC, had submitted a research report on promoting high-quality population development and suggestions on promoting the development of the silver economy as well as related research suggestions, which will be included in the content of the 2024 National Committee of the CPPCC thematic consultative seminars. The letter further stated appreciation for Li Yupeng's hard-working and ingenious contribution to promoting high-quality population development for the National Committee of the CPPCC thematic consultative seminars.
