From May 24 to 26, the ‘2024 Liaoning Province University Five-a-side Football League’, hosted by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education, was held in Dalian.

More than 30 universities, including Liaoning University, Dalian University of Technology, and Shenyang Institute of Sports, participated in the tournament. After three days of intense competition, LNU's high-level women's football team won third place. It is the best performance achieved in the team's history. Among them, Coach Yu Yang was awarded the title of Best Coach, Captain Ma Yanwen won the Outstanding Athlete Award, and team member Dong Shuang ranked third on the top scorer list with five goals.

LNU's high-level women's football team has been down-to-earth, diligent, and steadfast in their preparation and training. In the competition, they relentlessly improved and challenged themselves, going beyond themselves. They fully demonstrated their spirit of unity and cooperation, giving everything in their work, and never giving up. They presented the positive and courageous spirit of Liaoning University, won the respect of opponents and received good credits and high recognition from the competition committee.
