Pan Yishan Conducts Research and Exchanges in Chaoyang

On April 22, 2025, Pan Yishan, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Liaoning University (LNU), led a team to conduct research and exchanges at the Bank of China, Chaoyang Branch and Chaoyang Normal University, and carried out a series of enterprise-visiting and job-expanding activities to promote cooperation between universities and enterprises as well as cooperation between universities. Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee Zhang Hongxin attended the research activities.

 

 


Pan Yishan’s delegation held a discussion with Wang Hailong, President of the Chaoyang Branch of the Bank of China, and the leadership team. Pan Yishan expressed his gratitude to the Chaoyang Branch of the Bank of China for its long-term support to LNU. He mentioned that universities should cooperate closely with local enterprises and deeply integrate into the local socio-economic development. By going out of the campus, going into the society, and going up to a higher level, the organic integration of talent cultivation, scientific research, and social services can be promoted. He stated that relying on the disciplinary advantages and talent think tank of LNU, efforts should be made to assist the local area in solving practical problems, and realize the transformation of scientific research from focusing on theories to real practices, so as to contribute wisdom and strength to the high-quality economic and social development of Chaoyang City.

 



Wang Hailong introduced the history, institutional setup, staffing situation of the branch, as well as the cooperation between the branch and LNU in terms of graduate employment and talent cultivation. The two sides jointly watched the promotional videos of Chaoyang City and the Bank of China, and conducted exchanges and discussions centering on themes such as university-enterprise cooperation, talent cultivation, and financial service support.

 

 


In the afternoon, Pan Yishan and his team went to Chaoyang Normal University for research. The two sides held a signing ceremony for the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement between Liaoning University and Chaoyang Normal University.

 

 


Pan Yishan gained an in-depth understanding of the historical evolution, the progress of upgrading to a four-year undergraduate university, and the development of characteristic disciplines of Chaoyang Normal University, and spoke highly of the school-running achievements of the university. He stated that Liaoning University would give full play to the leading and driving role of a Double First-Class university, and continuously support Chaoyang Normal University in making progress in aspects such as discipline construction, faculty improvement, and scientific research development.

Sun Shiguo, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Chaoyang Normal University, Da Kening, President of the University, and the entire leadership team extended a warm welcome to the delegation from LNU. They also shared and exchanged views on the construction and development of the university, focusing on the phased achievements made since the university’s upgrading to a four-year undergraduate institution.

 

 


Zhang Hongxin and Da Kening respectively represented the two parties of cooperation and officially signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement between the two universities. The signing marks that the two sides will establish a long-term and stable cooperative relationship, and carry out in-depth cooperation in aspects such as the joint cultivation of high-level talents, collaborative innovation in education and teaching, and joint tackling of regional research topics.

Responsible comrades from the university’s Party and administrative office, student employment guidance center, cooperation and development department, social service office, Liaoning University (Chaoyang) Urban Research Institute and other units participated in the research.
