Job Responsibilities

1. Teacher courses including German conversation, listening and reading comprehension (elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels), writing, German linguistics, and literature, with a teaching load of 12-16 class hours per week.

2. Participate in developing examination materials.

3. Provide supervision for undergraduate thesis writing.

Qualifications

1. Demonstrate strong adaptability and an open mind, and be willing to actively participate in the academic and administrative affairs of the German Department, School of Foreign Languages, and the university.

2. Hold an academic background in the humanities, such as German, linguistics, or Teaching German to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

3. Have experience in teaching German as a foreign or second language.
