On August 21, Zhang Liansheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Railway Ninth Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (CR9B Group), and his entourage visited Liaoning University (LNU). The two sides held in-depth exchanges in Conference Room 707 of the Science and Engineering Building on the Chongshan Campus. Pan Yishan, Party Secretary of LNU, attended the meeting. The meeting was also attended by Cao Zimu, leader of CR9B Group, and Lu Hui, Vice President of LNU.

Pan Yishan extended a warm welcome to Zhang Liansheng and his entourage, and expressed sincere gratitude to CR9B Group for its strong support in the construction of LNU’s Disciplinary Inspection and Supervision Building. He introduced the university’s scale, as well as its achievements in discipline development, scientific research and talent cultivation. He noted that in recent years, the university has adhered to the approach of seeking practical scenarios beyond campus, identifying real problems in society, and pursuing pragmatic innovation at the forefront, and accelerated the transformation of its advantages in science and education resources into a driving force for boosting revitalization and development. He hoped CR9B Group would leverage the strengths of central enterprises, carry out multi-dimensional cooperation with the university, and jointly contribute to Liaoning’s all-round revitalization.

Zhang Liansheng thanked LNU for the warm reception. He highly commended the university’s outstanding achievements in the mechanism and prevention of coal mine rock burst under the leadership of Academician Pan Yishan, reviewed the cooperation results in school-enterprise construction, and detailed CR9B Group’s development history, business scope, performance and development strategy. He stated that CR9B Group expects in-depth exchanges with LNU in talent cultivation and scientific research cooperation, including joint establishment of internship bases, collaborative technological research, and promotion of high-quality full employment of graduates, so as to build a long-term cooperative relationship and achieve mutual benefits.

Before the meeting, Zhang Liansheng and his entourage visited the State Mine Safety Supervision Bureau Key Laboratory of Coal Mine Rock Burst Mechanism and Prevention and Control Technology of LNU.

Relevant departments and branches of CR9B Group, and officials from relevant departments of LNU participated in the visit.
