SUN Li, overseas returned Doctor of Economics, Post Doctor of Management, a professor at School of International Studies, Liaoning University and a distinguished professor at Waseda University, has devoted herself to the studies of the world economy, the regional economy, the opening to the outside world, the revitalization of the northeast old industrial base, and so on, especially on Japan's economic issues and corporate governance of Japan and China. She has published more than 50 academic papers and 3 monographs, and has undertaken more than 20 national issues, provincial and ministerial issues as well as international issues. She put forward a series of unique and new views on China 's opening up, the revitalization of the old industrial base in Northeast China, and Japan’s and China' s corporate governance structure matters. She believes that the fundamental way to revitalize the northeast old industrial base is idea innovation, institutional and institutional innovation and that the core of corporate governance is the top-level design of corporate governance structure which has caused strong repercussions in academic circles. She was the first to set up organizational economics courses in China which has made important contributions in developing the integration of Chinese management education and Chinese economics education.
