CAI Tiange, a professor at School of Life Science, Liaoning University, received M.S. degrees in Silviculture in 1996 and 1999, graduated from Northeast Forestry University. Mainly engaged in biochemical and medicinal chemistry research.

The research interests include molecular biology and medicinal chemistry. The main research achievements are as follows,

1.  Tiange Cai, Cis-ampelopsinE,a stilbene isolated from the seeds of Paeonia suffruticosa, inhibits lipopolysaccharide-stimulated nitric oxide production in RAW 264.7 macrophages via blockade of NF-kappaB signaling pathway.

Biological & Pharmaceutical Bulletin 2011, 9(34): 1501~1507

2. Tiange Cai ,Triterpenes from the Fungus Poria cocos and Their Inhibitory

Activity on Nitric Oxide Production in Mouse Macrophages via blockade of Activating Protein-1 Pathway.
