WU Ping

WU Ping, Ph. D. Economics and specially appointed professor, is serving as doctoral supervisor of civil and commercial law as well as population, resources and environmental economics. Professor Wu Ping was selected to hundred level of Talents Engineering Project in Liaoning.

Research field: Professor Wu Ping has engaged in theory and practice research to aging population and social security fund management, achieved fruitful research results.

Research results:

1 Professor Wu Ping has taken charge of two programs of national social science funds and two of Ministry of Education, 1 program of MOST (Ministry of Science and Technology) and Ministry of Civil Affairs respectively. As the person in charge to sub project of major program, Professor Wu Ping taken part in 3 key programs of national social science funds and over 10 programs at provincial and ministerial level.

2 Professor Wu Ping has published over 50 papers on such national journals as People’s DailyChinese Public AdministrationChina Soft Science and Statistical Research etc, and 25 of them were included in CSSCI and reprinted more than 40 times. Professor Wu also received many interviews by Liaoning and Shenyang TV Station for social security hot and current issues.

3 Professor Wu Ping has independently made and taken part in the publish of 7 academic writings. The academic monograph Research to China Social Security Expenditure and Level gained the second prize of Liaoning provincial government (philosophy and social sciences) with higher praise by experts in scientific community of philosophy and social sciences.

4 Professor Wu Ping has won more than 10 awards of Liaoning provincial awards (philosophy and social sciences) etc at national and provincial level, and is giving lectures as Social Security Fund Operation and ManagementModern Population TheoryHRM (Human Resource Management) and Social Work Project Services and Management etc.
