SONG Limin, Ph. D. Economics and associate researcher of Institute of Population Research of Liaoning University, is serving as master student supervisor in Liaoning University.
SONG Limin is mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in such fields as population statistics and social security, research method practice and application, social work and social welfare etc.
Research fields: population urbanization and overall nationwide endowment insurance, population structure and labor employment, social work program and institutional assessment, group social work method and practice; be good at population prediction and statistical analysis with laying emphasis on the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis method.
Research results:
1 Taken charge of 1 program under national social science fund, taken part in 2 major programs under national social science fund, 4 programs under NSFC (National Natural Science Foundation of China), 3 programs under national social science fund. Taken charge of 5 programs at provincial and ministerial level, taken part in 25 programs at provincial and ministerial level; won 2 first prizes, 1 second prize and 1 third prize of provincial government, as well as 3 first prizes by provincial statistical bureau.
2 Published 16 academic papers on such national journals as Statistical Research, Population Journal as well as Economic Theory and Economic Management etc, 7 papers were included into CSSCI with reprinted and quoted for 28 times.
3 Song Limin Received the interviews by Liaoning TV Station, Liaoshen Evening Paper and Shenyang Daily etc media concerning the frontier problems of population, specific to “selective two-child polity” and “postponed retirement” etc. Son Limin also independently wrote and taken part in writing 4 academic writings, and the academic monograph of Research to Labor Force Employment in Northeast China Old Industrial Basewas rated the first prize of Liaoning government award (philosophy and social science).
