GENG Zhongyin

    Professor GENG Zhongyin, Ph.D, graduated from Northeastern University and Beijing Normal University respectively, is the dean of Marco Müller Research Institute of Cinematic Art, Liaoning University. He also holds the following posts: director of the Social Development Research Center Liaoning University; academic leader of Drama and Film Studies in Liaoning University; guest researcher at AICCC, Beijing Normal University; guest professor of Guizhou Minzu University; special adviser for Convergent Media Research Training Base, Gansu Province; visiting professor at Dhurakij Pundit University; vice-president of Film and Television Education Committee of China Higher Education   Society; executive director of China’s Television Artists Association in Professional  Committee of Universities; chairman of the College Drama and Film and Television Art Teaching Guide Committee of Liaoning Province; vice-chairman of Liaoning Province TV Artist Association; vice-chairman of the Aesthetic Institute of Liaoning Province; the head of the Social Sciences Association of Liaoning Research Base for cultural industry and cultural creative in Liaoning Province; member of Liaoning Province disciplinary group; member of the Censorship Committee for Movies and TV Plays of Liaoning Province; member of Shenyang Municipal Government Decision-Making Advisory Committee and other positions. Dr. Geng was evaluation expert for the Ministry of Education Top-quality Textbooks, Most Excellent Ph.D Dissertation, National Key Laboratories, and National Discipline Assessment. He also judged competitions and shows such as Sichuan International TV Festival, China College Student Television Awards, China College Student Drama Festival, Institute of Broadcasting and Television of China, and  CCTV competitions and shows.  His main research fields are Art Education, Communicable Ethics, Movies & TV Aesthetics, Documentary Creation, and Cultural Creative. Dr. Geng published hundreds of articles and reviews on literature, drama, and film.
