XIONG Ying, a Professor at College of Chemistry, Key Laboratory of Rare-scattered Elements of Liaoning Province, Liaoning University, received B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering in 1999 from Liaoning institute of Technology (BE, 1999), and M.S. degree in Inorganic Chemistry in 2002 from Liaoning University (ME, 2002). She completed her Ph.D in Inorganic Chemistry in 2005 at Chinese Academy of Sciences, Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (Ph.D, 2005). After that, Liaoning University (Lecturer : 2005-2006, Associate Professor : 2006-2011, Professor : 2011-, Doctoral supervisor : 2015-), Saga University (Postdoctoral fellow : 2008-2009); receive this awards (Academic second echelon leaders of Liaoning University: 2012; Liaoning Excellent Talents in University: 2012,2015; Liaoning BaiQianWan Talents:2013,2016).
The research interests include extraction, adsorption of rare metals, and preparation of functional materials from biomass, graphene, carbon or silica-based support. The main research achievements are as follows,
