WANG Liying, an associate professor and the director of World History Department in History School at Liaoning University, graduated and got a B.A. degree in history in Nankai University in 1989, a M.A. and a PhD degree in history in Northeast Normal University in 1992 and 1995. She was a visiting scholar in Crete University in Greece from 1998-2000. She worked as the director of Confucius Institute at Vilnius University in Lithuania from 2011-2013.

Her teaching and research area are the ancient world history, western historical literature and English for history majors, brief world history and civilization, focusing on western classics. Her main academic achievements are as followed:

1. Works: Roman      History from the Foundation (Preface and Vol.1),

2. Study on Women’ Images of Paintings and Woodcuts in      the Early Renaissance

  She was awarded an excellent undergraduate teacher of Liaoning University in 2009-2010 academic year.
