SUN Lixiang, a 2nd class professor in History School at Liaoning University, a doctor in laws, a doctoral supervisor, a member of the first echelon of academic leaders at Liaoning University, a member of the New Century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education, a judge for National University Outstanding Research Awards of the Ministry of Education, a communication evaluation expert for the projects supported by the National Social Science Foundation and the Ministry of Education’s Social Science Foundation, an executive director of Academic Association of History of Japanese in China, a visiting research fellow of Tokyo University.

His research interests include the History of Sino-Japanese relations, the History of Modern Japan and the History of Asia-Pacific countries, etc. His main research achievements are as follows,

1. He has been responsible for five research projects, including two projects supported by the National Social Science Foundation and two projects supported by the Ministry of Education’s Social Science Foundation.

2. He has written four advisory reports for the central government which had achieved approval from the leaders of the central government.

3. He has issued more than eighty academic papers, and more than ten of them are of class A and B. He has published eight academic books, including three personal monographs.

4. He has achieved various types of scientific research and teaching achievement awards more than twenty times.
