WANG Shuang

Born in the year of 1982, Ms. Wang Shuang obtained her Bachelor degree majoring in English language and literature from the College of Foreign Studies, Liaoning University in 2005, and her Master degree from the School of English Language, Literature and Culture, Beijing International Studies University with research specialization in transcultural studies in 2008, and she has been working for the English Program of Asia Australia Business College Liaoning University since then. During her time as a lecturer, Ms. Wang has conducted teaching practices of intensive reading and listening for first- and second-year students. In August 2012, she was selected and sent by the Confucius Institute Headquarters, also known as the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban), to the Confucius Institute at the University at Buffalo in the United States, working as Teacher Support Director, and finished her service in December 2013. Besides teaching activities, Ms. Wang also engages herself in many other teaching and research related events, winning her the title of Excellent Instructor in the Smart Economy Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest of College Students in Liaoning Province twice, in 2017 and 2019 respectively. Her co-translation of John Bellamy Foster’s article, Absolute Capitalism: The Neoliberal Project and the Marxian-Polanyian-Foucaultian Critique Monthly Review, May 2019 was published on the Foreign Theoretical Trends, 2019(8): 50-57.
