TANG Xiaohua, a professor of Liaoning University, School of Economics, the main research directions are industrial economics theory and its application.His study focus on advanced manufacturing, industrial cluster and the revitalization of the old industrial base. Also, he is the executive vice president of China Industrial Economic Research Association and has a certain influence on the field of manufacturing research  in China’s industrial economy.

Achievement:

1.Hosted and completed the National Social Science Fund of major projects,〝China’s equipment manufacturing industry development path.”

2.Has been focused on the development of industrial clusters in Liaoning Province, and proposed many countermeasure and suggestion for the development of industrial clusters in Liaoning Province (which were published and adopted by Advisory Digest and the provincial leaders of instructions).

3.Attentions and suggestions were given to the integration and development of manufacturing and producer services (which were published and adopted by Advisory Digest and the provincial leaders of instructions).

4.Now he is still undertaking the major research project of philosophy and social science of the Ministry of Education: , “Research on the development strategy of China's advanced manufacturing industry”.
