PEI Yan, female, Han nationality, born in August 1977 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. In 2008, she received a doctorate in history. She  is now an associate professor of the school of Marxism, Liaoning University.

Main research fields: modern society and culture, modern history of law, modern international students.

She has presided over 1 National Social Science Fund, 1 provincial social science fund, 4 university level scientific research projects, and participated in 3 various subjects. Published 18 academic papers ,2 monographs and 4 co-authored works. She won the second prize of the 2018 young teachers' teaching competition of Ideological and political theory course in Liaoning Province, the second prize of excellent achievements of social science activities month in Liaoning Province, and the excellent prize of excellent courseware competition of Department of education of Liaoning Province.
