HAO Huimin

HAO Huimin, female, born in Shenyang in 1969, PhD in linguistics. Associate professor  in the Department of Russian College of Foreign Studies Liaoning University. Full-time teacher of Russian in the College of Foreign Studies Liaoning University since October 1994.

Subject directions: Historical Comparative Linguistics, Russian and Chinese cultural Comparison, Cross-cultural Communication.

Under her tenure, she published one monograph and one translation work, presided over one provincial research project, wrote nearly 20 academic papers, presided over and participated in the compilation of 7 dictionaries.

Overseas study and work experience: Through individual application and school dispatch, she went to Kazakhstan National University (Almaty) as a visiting scholar, doing research in Russian lexicology from September 2000 to September 2001. From December 2006 to January 2010, she served as the first Chinese teacher in Bashkir State University in Ufa, Russia. Meanwhile she studied for a doctors degree in historical comparative linguistics, and received her doctors degree in linguistics in December 2009. From October 2010 to November 2011, she served as the Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute of the Irkutsk State University in Irkutsk Russia with the approval of National Chinese International Promotion Leading Group Office.
