LIU Liying

I am an associate professor (meanwhile, supervisor of graduate students) from English Department, College of Foreign Studies, Liaoning University.

I once studied in the United Kingdom. I am familiar with the latest foreign language teaching methods and approaches. I know very well about English culture and cross cultural communication and know how to apply them in the practical teaching.

I teach undergraduate students courses of English Intensive Reading, English Writing, English Listening, Contemporary British Culture and Society, Contemporary American Culture and Society, An Advanced Course of Interpretation and so on. Apart from that, I give lectures on A Foundation Course of Interpreting and Applied Linguistics Research Methods to graduate students.

I have translated some books, such as Coaching Kids and The love in Desert (About French Literature) and written some textbooks and dictionaries.
