GAO Kaizheng，a professor at College of Liberal Arts, Liaoning University, promoted to a Professorship in 1993, and began to take the responsibility of doctoral supervisor in 1998. He had been the president of College of Liberal Arts from 1997 to 2009(director before the Department was changed into the College). Now he still takes the responsibility of Professor and Doctoral supervisor. Besides, he is Doctoral Academic Leader in Chinese language and literature discipline, in the Study of Chinese Literature and Art Theories in the key research center of Liaoning Province, as well as in Literature and Art Theories of Liaoning key discipline. Professor Gao is also the recipient of the State Department Special Contribution Grant, winner of the Lu Xun Prize in Literature, National Model Teacher, Shenyang Second Session excellent expert，deputy to the People’s Congress of the Shenyang 15th Session, vice chairman of Chinese and Foreign Literature and Art Theory Research Association, executive director of Chinese Literary Theory Association, Member both in the Academic Committee of Philosophy and Social Sciences and in the Assessment Committee of Philosophy and Social Sciences in the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, etc.

    The research interests include literary theory and aesthetics. The main research achievements are as follows,
