GU Yumin, associate professor, graduated from Dalian University of Foreign Languages, was issued MA’s Degree by Liaoning University, majoring in British & American Literature.

Once an exchange Scholar in Bemidji State University, USA. Research focus: Cross Culture.

Currently, chair of Foreign Language Department 2 of Comprehensive Foundation College, Liaoning University.

Representative of the Seventh and Eighth Session of the Faculty & Staff Congress of the university.  

Council member of Liaoning Translation Association.

Member of Democratic Revolution Party.

I have been teaching since graduation, which courses consist of College English Reading&Writing, Audio&Visual Course, English for Graduate Students, Conversational English, Expansive Reading, A Survey of British & American Culture, Extensive Reading, and so on.

Besides teaching, I also engaged in scientific research work, presiding over and participating in a number of projects of provincial institutions. Theses written were prized by Liaoning Institute of Foreign Language Teaching and Research, Foreign Language Teaching & Research Association of Liaoning Higher Educational Institution and Liaoning Translation Association. As main participant, two multimedia courseware were issued 2nd prize respectively in the Educational Software Contest sponsored by Liaoning Provincial Department of Education.

Awarded as advanced individual of Female Contributors of the year (2016-2017) by Liaoning University.
