WANG Jinyang, female, ethnic Han Chinese , was born in Fushun, Liaoning Province, in December 1978. She graduated from the Department of English of Dalian University of Foreign Languages in 2002 and has been working in Liaoning University since then. She was elected vice professor in 2013.

Professor Wang Jinyang has mainly engaged in research on second language teaching, Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics and teacher development programs. She has explored the implications of new teaching materials and ideas and offered solutions to language-related real-life problems.  

With main research fields are college English teaching, she has achieved remarkable results in the long-term and systematic study of second language teaching. She published more than 30 papers, which are cited many times. In the original papers, she discovers intercultural communicative competence based on interaction theory, the cultural input in university English teaching, oral language teaching from information processing system of psycholinguistics and so on.

In 2019, she was awarded the Top University Undergraduate Teacher.
