Xu Jun (1965-), pen-named Ting Lan and Zeng Susu, is an associate professor of College of Foreign Studies.

The academic interests of Associate Professor Xu include discourse analysis, female literature, and English translation of Wang Guowei Series. Her courses offered range from English writing to English and American literature, contrast of English and Chinese. She has ever been the host of the English translation columns of Chinese poetry like Bilingual Poetry, Ting Lan Poetry & Translation, etc., and the leader of a provincial social science fund project “Interpretation and Application of the Realm Theory in the English Translation of Wang Guowei’s Poetry and Ci Poems.” She is editor-in-chief and author of “English Translation of Wang Guowei Series.” Her Chinese and English works were published in Selected Poems, The World of Prose Poetry, Prose Hundred, English Language Learning, The World of English, and Foreign Literature Studies. Her English translated poem collection A Farmer’s Homeland (2017) was selected in the 2018 Farmers’ Library Recommended Catalogue of Key Publications issued by the State Administration of Press and Publication.
