The research interests of Lecturer Wu include English and American literature as well as general linguistics. He has read widely and has translated more than 10000 words from Chinese into English ,most of which are the introductions to the places of interests that require high English proficiency and Chinese level.

   He has about 3 research papers published in the provincially top level academic journals and has ever taught many different courses such as:  advanced English; English literature; A brief history of English; Essential English; Advanced English Listening etc. He is also a Participant of A Dictionary of New English Words.
