Zhang Donghui, born in 1968, is a Professor and Master’s Supervisor. She is the Chinese Dean of Confucius Institute at Irkutsk State University of Russia.

    Her research interests have ranged from applied linguistics, comparison between cultures, to inter-cultural communication. She offered some courses to undergraduates and graduates, including An Introduction to Western Cultures, Chinese Culture (English version, for international students), Business English, Business Communication and Professional Development. 

    She authored and co-authored many publications including Social Communication, Non-verbal Communication, Foreign Language Talents Educating & Market Mechanism, Second Language Acquisition and Cross-culture-- oriented Second Language Teaching. She has translated An outline of American History， Guinness World Records(Editions from 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 ,2006,2007 total 2,000,000 W), and some financial professional documents: The Virtual Banking Revolution (Essinger, J International Thomson Business Press), The Art of Steal (Frank W Abagnale, Broadway Book).
